“We decided to break away from boring black bags and offer some interesting colors,” says Rainebrooke founder, Steve Fronek. “More recently we focused on the one color we know best, pink! The name Rainebrooke comes from my two daughters’ middle names, Raine & Brooke. Pink was the color of the first bag we sold back in 2005, it’s Raine & Brooke’s favorite color and it’s what Rainebrooke is all about, pink laptop bags and cases! “
When searching for an ecommerce platform, Fronek chose Miva Merchant because of its flexibility and ease of editing, as well as and service.
“I wanted to be able to easily add features without having to go through a huge learning curve. Miva Merchant allows me to easily edit and modify each area of my site,” says Fronek. “Last but not least was having an easy way to process orders and then sync these orders with my accounting software. Miva Merchant and Miva Synchro make all of this a breeze.”
Currently, the site contains roughly 100 different styles of laptop cases, messenger bags, sleeves, and backpacks, as well as cases and sleeves for iPads, Kindles, and other electronic readers in different shades of pink and several other colors as well.
