Inspirational Fuel for the Entrepreneurial Brain

Written by Miva | Jul 22, 2013

For even the greatest entrepreneurs, inspiration is needed to fuel ideas and to help launch those ideas into reality.  In many ways, the minute an entrepreneur loses inspiration is the minute they become mediocre. To fuel this fire for our ecommerce merchants, we have created an inspiration board which will be updated with fresh motivation each day.  Rather than becoming molded to conventional path life has set out for them, entrepreneurs break the mold and take their ideas to the next level.

We have scoured the web for the best entrepreneurial advice, inspiration, and motivation for online store owners, and we’ve put it on our new Inspiration Board.

We want to be there for the store owners and entrepreneurs in the moments when they are wondering, ‘Is this even worth it?’  These snapshots of inspiration could be the fuel that store owners need to remind them why they started in the first place: to own their own business, to be their own boss, to live a life financed by their passion, or whatever the reason might be.

Inspiration could be that key ingredient that you need to take your business to the next level.

Here’s a little slice of what we’ll be serving up daily on the Miva Inspiration Board:

“The very first company I started failed with a great bang. The second one failed a little bit less, but still failed. The third one, you know, proper failed, but it was kind of okay. I recovered quickly. Number four almost didn’t fail. It still didn’t really feel great, but it did okay. Number five was PayPal.”
– Max Levchin, former CTO of PayPal

“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”
– Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple

“So often people are working hard at the wrong thing. Working on the right thing is probably more important than working hard.”
-Caterina Fake, co-founder of Flickr

“We are really competing against ourselves. We have no control over how other people perform.”
-Pete Cashmore, founder of Mashable

Don’t forget to bookmark the Inspiration Board for a daily pep-talk.
